Hello

Currently, I'm working remotely from Houston, TX, designing powerful product solutions for Virtual Hospitals Africa. Before this
was at Co.Lab where I led the design for a fully functional MVP focused on helping people achieve better health outcomes.

I chose UX/Product Design as my career path because I realized it was a position where I could leverage my background in healthcare, real estate, and education. My combined skills as an instructional designer, product trainer, and educator turned out to be ideal for crafting experiences and products that help people.

Humble Origins

Where the Passion Begins

Back in 2019, I started learning design after work and on the weekends. My inspiration came from designing and branding a learning product that was marketed to more than 165,000 educators across the state of Texas. When the Covid 19 pandemic happened I followed my intuition and signed up for CareerFoundry's Immersive UX Design program and later as a Product Designer with Co.Lab.

I saw that this field was going to challenge me in ways that I had never encountered before. Over the next 2 years I fine tuned my craft and sought opportunities to lend my skillset in organizations dedicated to enhancing people's quality of life.

One of the top highlights of my design career so far is working with Virtual Hospital Africa to help underserved African communities. I'm excited about my next steps and looking to work with organizations who values their employees contributions and creating an environment that encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Getting to know me

I love listening to music from the 70's and 80's and binging my favorite shows on Netflix, Prime, and Paramount. I enjoy shows that are intriguing and have exceptional storytelling.

When I'm not doing that you'll find me spending time outdoors and taking long walks. I'm just starting on my bucket list but know that my future will be full of exploration and unique experiences as I travel to places like Australia, Hawaii, maybe even Paris or Dubai.
